For February we’re presenting a vignette that’s serene and sensual. Farrow and Ball’s “Pelt” cocoons the space in a dark aubergine that contrasts with pops of cream, saffron and glowing golds. Our custom Plum Ikat pillows in an iridescent purple silk with tonal embroidery see that the color of 2014 “Radiant Orchid” makes a brief but tasteful cameo. Custom Wing Chairs, inspired by the sinuous shapes of a 19th century French daybed, are lacquered in fog-grey and upholstered in a silvery lilac silk velvet. This January we’re loving the look of reclaimed wood furniture and accessories. No two pieces are ever alike! We’re featuring a stunning live-edge American Elm table by local artisan Colleen Smith, available exclusively at Kendall Wilkinson Home. The table is given an industrial-strength bracket base in steel, a great contrast to the sinuous curves of the edges.
Pair sculptural, soft natural shapes with geometric architectural elements for a look that’s both bold and refines. Add a Pop Art twist by using a bit of faux bois, like this handmade paper mache side table.

The word “obsession” seems a little strong, but we definitely try to defy convention when it comes to making the “old”, new and fabulous again. The Kendall Wilkinson Signature Lacquer and Lucite collections take from classic architectural lines and design concepts and are reinvented in bold, high gloss colors and ethereal Lucite. You can view our latest additions at www.kendallwilkinson.1stdibs.com.
Undoubtedly, a love of fashion directly inspires Kendall Wilkinson’s most creative works. Whether gathering color schemes from a Parisian runway or flipping through the newest Vogue, Kendall’s designs are a direct reflection of many bold and timeless trends in fashion. You might see jewels and necklines playfully transformed into drapery trim or pillow edge details. But ultimately, it’s a love of fabric and texture, sparkle and glamour that inspires unforgettable furniture and interiors.
